
PAYROLL ADMINISTRATOR
CE Group, based in Mosta, operates in construction, real estate, elderly care, catering, and childcare. We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
The Payroll Administrator manages employee compensation, including wages, bonuses, and benefits, while ensuring compliance with payroll taxes and state regulations. Reporting to the HR Manager, they will also maintain employee records, such as tax forms and benefits enrollment.
Key Duties:
- Calculate and process wages, bonuses, and benefits, including hours worked, overtime, and other compensation factors.
- Deduct taxes and Social Security from employee salaries.
- Track time and attendance to ensure accurate pay.
- Ensure compliance with industry wage laws to avoid penalties.
- Maintain employee records, including salaries, benefits, tax forms, and time-off requests.
- Communicate with employees about payroll and benefits, answering questions and resolving issues.
- Generate payroll and benefits reports, as well as other financial statements.
Position Requirements:
- Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in payroll processing, accounting, or finance is a plus.
- Strong math skills and attention to detail for accurate pay calculations.
- Proficient in timekeeping software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of payroll laws, tax, and accounting principles.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- European passport or work permit for Malta.
- Clean police conduct.
