The company is seeking to recruit a Kitchen Porter (Full-time/Part-time) to join our dynamic team.
Job Description
The Kitchen Porter is primarily responsible for assisting with kitchen operations, washing dishes, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting kitchen staff in meal preparation. This role requires efficiency, teamwork, and a commitment to ensuring a clean and safe kitchen environment for the residents.
General Duties include, but are not limited to:
✅ Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment efficiently and ensure they are stored properly.
✅ Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, including sanitizing surfaces and disposing of waste appropriately.
✅ Ensure kitchen supplies, such as cleaning products and utensils, are stocked and readily available.
✅ Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
✅Assist in receiving and storing kitchen deliveries.
✅Support kitchen staff in meal service preparation when needed.
✅Report any maintenance or hygiene issues to the kitchen supervisor.
✅Maintain a respectful and friendly attitude toward residents and staff.
Position Requirements:
✅ Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is preferred but not required.
✅Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety practices.
✅Ability to work efficiently and complete tasks in a timely manner.
✅Strong teamwork and communication skills.
✅Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
